UNK-The University of Nebraska at Kearney presents Concerts-On-The-Platte tonight, November 27 at 8 p.m. in the Fine Arts Recital Hall. The concert will feature UNK’s Jeffrey Schoyen in a faculty cello recital and Nathan Buckner on piano. Schoyen and Buckner will be presenting works by Beethoven, Faure, and Rachmaninoff.

The Concerts-On-The-Platte series is sponsored by the UNK Department and Music and Performing Arts and features both UNK faculty and guest artists. Admission to the concert is free. Schoyen has been a member of the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra, the Louisiana Philharmonic and the Filarmonica del Bajio in Mexico. He has appeared as recitalist and chamber musician throughout the United States, England, Germany and Spain.
