Every Friday in November, University of Nebraska at Kearney School of Psychology and department of counseling graduate students will offer free developmental screenings to infants and toddlers of UNK students, faculty
and staff.
Screenings will take place from 12 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. in the College of Education clinic located in the College of Education Building. “The screening is a fun and simple assessment procedure to give parents an idea as to their child’s developmental progress/level,” said Theresa McFarland, lecturer in Counseling and the School of Psychology. Handouts are available upon request which detail appropriate skills for the specified age of the child.
