More than 750 students from 101 high schools in Nebraska and Kansas participated in the annual Honor Band and Choral Clinic hosted by the University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Department of Music, Theatre and Dance. Students worked with UNK faculty and guest instructors before performing two public concerts Monday evening at the Health and Sports Center. Katherine Shinn receives KUDOS award from NU Board of Regents
Katherine Shinn, office supervisor in the UNK Department of Music, Theatre and Dance, received the University of Nebraska Board of Regents KUDOS award on Thursday. KUDOS awards recognize university staff for their professional expertise, service and “superior dedication” to UNK and the University of Nebraska. It is the university’s top staff award.
