UNK sorority sending 451 holiday care packages to US service members

By TYLER ELLYSON UNK Communications KEARNEY – Christmas came early on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus. KEARNEY – A University of Nebraska at Kearney sorority is thanking U.S. military members serving overseas through its annual Sisters for Soldiers project. With a fresh layer of snow on the ground outside and twinkling decorations, hot chocolate and cheerful music inside, it was hard to not be in a joyous mood. AOII seeks public donations for Sisters for Soldiers event

KEARNEY – The Alpha Omicron Pi sorority at the University of Nebraska at Kearney is asking the public to help donate items that will be used to make care packages for active soldiers overseas.
