KEARNEY – Gov. Pete Ricketts is the keynote speaker for a Geography Awareness Week event at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Ricketts will present “The Impacts of International Trade on Nebraskans: Observations from the Recent Nebraska Trade Mission to Vietnam” at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 5 in Copeland Hall Room 142. NU Board of Regents approve 2019-21 budget request

The University of Nebraska would receive state funding to cover core needs like health insurance, utilities and general operations under a two-year budget request approved Friday by the Board of Regents. The university’s biennial budget request, which is due to Gov. Pete Ricketts and the Legislature by Sept. 15, seeks increases in state funding of 3 percent in 2019-20 and 3.7 percent in 2020-21. Toyo University agreement another UNK, Japanese success story

Nebraska Gov.
