UNK offers first-year students enhanced start online: ‘O.N.E. Loper’

A new program called O.N.E. Loper allows freshmen and first-time students at UNK to take their entire first year of general studies courses online and remotely.

KEARNEY – Students looking to start their university experience but who can’t attend in person are offered a new program this fall at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. O.N.E. Ellis selected as UNK graduate studies dean

KEARNEY – Following a national search, Mark Ellis has been selected as dean of graduate studies at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The announcement was made today by UNK Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs Charlie Bicak and is pending approval by the University of Nebraska Board of Regents. Interim dean Ellis sees opportunities to grow UNK’s graduate studies and research programs

UNK’s graduate enrollment has increased each of the past five years, reaching 1,843 students for the fall 2018 semester.
