UNK Police officers sporting pink patches for breast cancer awareness
KEARNEY – University of Nebraska at Kearney Police officers will wear special pink patches on their uniforms throughout October to increase breast cancer awareness and raise money for those fighting the disease. UNK panel to discuss warning signs, how to handle stalking
KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney is hosting a Stalking Awareness Panel to increase knowledge about the issue, discuss warning signs and help guide people on what they should do if they, or someone they know, is being stalked. Criminal Justice Club recognizes K9 Frank, other police dogs
The Criminal Justice Club at the University of Nebraska at Kearney presented a plaque to the Kearney Police Department and Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department on Nov. 25 recognizing all of the dogs that have been part of the city/county K9 program since it began in the early 1990s.
