UNK students named finalists for broadcasting College Media Awards

KEARNEY – What is fake news? Why is it a problem? What can we do about it? Answers to those questions and more will be discussed by a panel of journalists and a legal expert at an upcoming event at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Broadcast students Troyer, Sadd, Hanson win regional awards

KEARNEY – Three University of Nebraska at Kearney students received recognition and won awards at the Midwest Journalism Conference March 31-April 1 in Minneapolis. The UNK Department of Communication and 91.1 KLPR announced winners from the conference, which is hosted by the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association. Sports communication degree added to UNK lineup
