NU joins amicus brief opposing new ICE guidance for international students

On behalf of its four campuses, the University of Nebraska system has joined an amicus brief opposing new federal guidance requiring international college students to leave the United States if their coursework is online-only. Fall plan allows international students to continue studying at UNK

On July 6, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program, or SEVP, through the U.S. Customs and Enforcement Program in the Department of Homeland Security, issued a revision for the fall 2020 semester that rescinds the prior temporary adaptations during the 2020 spring and summer semesters. International student Yui Hayashi finds home away from home at UNK
