UNK grad student Broc Anderson receives Mari Sandoz Research Award

KEARNEY – The Mari Sandoz Heritage Society selected University of Nebraska at Kearney graduate student Broc Anderson as the 2020-21 recipient of its Mari Sandoz Research Award. Anderson, who is pursuing a Master of Arts in history at UNK, received a $1,000 grant to conduct research that emphasizes new insights on Sandoz or new approaches to her life and work. Amber Alexander receives KUDOS award from NU Board of Regents

Amber Alexander, online program coordinator for the UNK Department of History, received the University of Nebraska Board of Regents KUDOS award Friday. KUDOS awards recognize university staff for their professional expertise, service and “superior dedication” to UNK and the University of Nebraska. It is the university’s top staff award.
