 The UNK Choraleers and Women's Choir presented their fall concert Thursday in the Fine Arts Recital Hall and Kearney Symphony Orchestra performed Saturday outside the G.W. Frank Museum of History and Culture on campus. It was the orchestra's first outdoor concert in more than 30 years. Kearney Symphony Orchestra performing outdoor concert Saturday at Frank Museum

KEARNEY – More than 30 years have passed since Kearney Symphony Orchestra last performed an outdoor concert. So, you definitely don’t want to miss this weekend’s show. Will Stoutamire, a familiar face at UNK, returns to lead growing public history programs

MONA, Frank Museum closed to public to limit health risk

KEARNEY – The Museum of Nebraska Art will be closed to the public until further notice. MONA, located at 2401 Central Ave. in downtown Kearney, announced the closure beginning today following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other health officials to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Leslie Pietrzyk, winner of UNK writing contest, reading March 11 at Frank Museum

KEARNEY – Novelist Leslie Pietrzyk will share her work 7 p.m. March 11 as part of the University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Reynolds Visiting Writers Series.
