The shirtless ones wearing cutoff jean shorts, waving a UNK pennant and cheering on the Lopers at Saturday’s NCAA Division II volleyball national championship in Denver. UNK Wind Ensemble selected to perform at State Bandmasters convention

By TYLER ELLYSON UNK Communications KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney Wind Ensemble will perform Friday (March 1) during the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association annual convention in Lincoln. Pride of the Plains Marching Band

KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney Pride of the Plains Marching Band has announced its season schedule, which begins with UNK’s Aug. 30 football game against Missouri Southern State. In addition to performing at all Loper home football games, Pride of the Plains performs in the annual UNK Band Day Parade and Bearcat Marching Festival Sept. 22.
