UNK's Alpha Omicron Pi sorority hosted a "Strike Out Arthritis" bowling tournament Wednesday evening at Big Apple Fun Center in Kearney. Nearly 150 people played in the event, which raised $4,191 for the Arthritis Foundation. In addition to bowling, the fundraiser included a raffle for prizes donated by area businesses. KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Alpha Omicron Pi sorority is hosting a “Strike Out Arthritis” bowling event March 11 at Big Apple Fun Center, 500 W. Fourth St., in Kearney. KEARNEY – Alpha Omicron Pi is challenging players to “Strike Out Arthritis” during the sorority’s 13th annual dodgeball tournament. The fundraiser is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday (April 4) at the Health and Sports Center on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus.
