UNK ranked in top 10% nationally for online master’s programs in education

KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney remains one of the best schools in the country for students pursuing an online master’s degree in education. UNK moved up one position, into a tie for 27th place, in this year’s “Best Online Master’s in Education Programs” rankings compiled by U.S. News & World Report. UNK closing for second straight day; No classes Tuesday due to winter storm

KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney will be closed Tuesday due to hazardous winter weather conditions and to give the university additional time to meet transportation and mobility needs of the campus community. Kearney received 8 inches of snow Monday by 5 p.m., and a winter storm warning remained in effect until 3 a.m. Tuesday. UNK closed Monday because of winter storm

KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney will be closed Monday because of severe winter weather forecasted for central Nebraska. A winter storm warning has been issued for the Kearney area, where 5 to 10 inches of snow is expected Monday along with winds gusting to near 30 mph. Free COVID-19 testing available for UNK students, employees

KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney will continue offering free COVID-19 tests for students and employees during the spring semester. Testing will occur 5-7 p.m. Mondays and 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Jan. 25, in the Ockinga Seminar Center on campus.
