The Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15-Oct. 15) with a celebration Tuesday night at the Nebraskan Student Union. Festivities included food, piñatas, dancing and a photo booth. Students also read Hispanic Heritage Month proclamations from Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts and U.S. President Joe Biden to start the event.

We’re having a smashing good time at UNK’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration.
Stop by the Ponderosa Room before 10 p.m. for the dance!
