UNK closed Tuesday due to severe weather

The University of Nebraska at Kearney will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 16. All on-site and remote classes are canceled. This closure applies to all students and any employees who are not deemed essential to the support of emergency campus operations.

The Calvin T. Ryan Library and Plambeck Early Childhood Education Center will be closed.

Dining Services will be open as follows:

  • The Market @27th Street from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Louie’s Diner from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.
  • The Grid from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Starbucks from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Antelope Bookstore will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As with all closing decisions, essential personnel should report to their supervisor. Any activity or event that is not specifically listed as being open should be considered closed, canceled or postponed.
