At the Oct. 3 University of Nebraska Board of Regents meeting in Kearney, Regent Bob Whitehouse was awarded the honorary title “Regent Emeritus.”
Whitehouse has represented District 4 since 2006 and served two terms as chair. He plans to retire from the Board following its December meeting. UNK produced a video highlighting his career in public education and service to Nebraska, and he received a standing ovation from the Regents and attendees at today’s meeting.
Congratulations to distinguished UNK alumnus and dedicated servant to the university, Regent Bob Whitehouse.
