KEARNEY – Health science students at the University of Nebraska at Kearney are encouraging the campus community and Kearney community to donate blood Monday and Tuesday (Nov. 14 and 15).

The American Red Cross Blood Drive is between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the Nebraskan Student Union Ponderosa Room.

Students from the Kearney Health Opportunities Program are organizing the blood drive. The program is a joint venture between UNK and University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine, and trains primary care physicians to meet the needs of rural Nebraska.

Visit www.redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment to donate blood or to find out if you are eligible to donate.
