Angela Hollman has been selected as one of three people to judge the 2015 Congressional App Challenge in Nebraska’s Third Congressional District.

Hollman is an assistant professor in industrial technology at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where her courses include telecommunications literacy, network architecture and telecommunications, internetworking design, and global internetworking.

Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) announced her selection Wednesday.

The Congressional App Challenge is open to all high school students who live in – or are eligible to attend public schools located in – Nebraska’s Third Congressional District.

The winning app in each participating congressional district will be featured on the U.S. House of Representatives’ website and displayed in a U.S. Capitol exhibit.

More details and official guidelines can be found at https://www.challenge.gov/challenge/congressional-app-challenge-ne-03-rep-smith or by contacting Rick Willis in Smith’s Scottsbluff office at 308-633-6333.

The deadline for submissions is January 15, 2016.
