Russian composers featured at April 28 Kearney Symphony concert

KEARNEY – The Kearney Symphony will present its final concert of the season at 7:30 p.m. April 28 in the University of Nebraska at Kearney Recital Hall.

The program, titled “From Russia with Love,” features music by Russian composers.

The concert includes Prokofiev’s “Lt. Kije Suite” and Tchaikovsky’s “Andante Cantabile” and “Little Russian” Symphony #2. UNK Music and Performing Arts Associate Professsor Noah Rogoff is the soloist on “Andante Cantabile.”

Tickets are available through the UNK Box Office at (308) 865-8417 or online at www.unk.edu/kso. Student and youth tickets are free. Adult tickets are $10.
