New University of Nebraska President Hank Bounds visited the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus today (Monday, April 13) as part of his “Getting to Know Nebraska” tour. Students, faculty and staff attended a reception in the Ponderosa Room, which was followed by a private luncheon with key campus and community stakeholders. Bounds continues his tour of the state this week and will make stops in 20 Nebraska communities. His first day as NU president is today.
