English Honors Society students picked to present research at international conference

Five members of UNK’s chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honors Society, have been selected to present research papers at the chapter’s annual international conference.

The event, which hosts more than 1,000 presenters from across the world, is March 18-21 in Albuquerque, N.M.

University of Nebraska at Kearney students chosen, with titles of their research, include:
Fairbury – Shaun Friedrichsen, “Accepting the Bitter Reality”
Kearney – Kevin Stones, “Reinterpreting Shakespeare for a Modern Audience”
Oshkosh – Hannah Blum, “The Women of Ancient Greece”
Ravenna – Rachel Nozicka, “Street Culture and Moral Development in Colonel Jack”
Stanton – Natalie Hall, “Determinism in ‘The Blue Hotel’”
