KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney Violin/Viola Studio Recital is Friday (April 25) in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.
“The works that the concert will present include technical show pieces, concerto movements, works for solo violin and solo viola, a sonata movement from the 20th-century period and energetic dance music written for the violin,” said Ting-Lan Chen, associate professor of violin/viola.
“The audience will feel delighted to hear music of famous composers such as J. S. Bach and de Beriot.”
The concert will also introduce works by lesser-known composers such as Alfred Schnittke.
