Eight music students of Kearney piano teacher Karen Decker will present a 3-3:30 p.m. Parlor Performance Sunday, May 6, at the Frank House, located on the University of Nebraska at Kearney West Campus.

“Giving a piano recital is a pretty big deal when you are eight or 10-years-old, but volunteering to share that experience at the Frank House is really special!” said KrisAnn Sullivan, Frank House director. The students range in age from 8 to 16 years-of-age.

Students performing include: Alex Maxson, beginner piano, son of Tom and Kathy Maxson; Amelie and Soleil Mast, beginner piano, daughters of Kelley and Hannah Mast; Megan Ernst, beginner piano, daughter of Dana and Beth Ernst; Rebekah Feddersen, beginner piano, and Rachel Feddersen, intermediate piano, daughters of Scott and Anna Feddersen; Kara Jelinek, beginner violin, daughter of Leon and Maxine Jelinek; and Zoe Dalhgren, beginner acoustic guitar, daughter of Rick and Jill Dahlgren.

The performance is free and open to the public. Tours of the Frank House will be available after the performance.

“Donations for the Frank House are appreciated on behalf of the young volunteers,” Sullivan said.
