Award-winning juggler, and 1999 Comedy  Entertainer of the Year, Mark Nizer will perform at the University of Nebraska at Kearney on Tuesday, Feb. 1.

The performance will begin at 8 p.m. in the Ponderosa Room, which is located on the second floor of the Nebraskan Student Union. Admission is $4.

Nizer’s shows consist of original comedy, world class juggling, movement, music and technology. Some of his stunts include launching five ping pong balls 20 feet in the air using only his mouth, and juggling a burning propane tank, an electric carving knife and a 16-pound bowling ball.

“Mark Nizer is a gifted performer with a fine sense of comic timing,” said Jerry Martin of “JUGGLE Magazine.”

“Nizer’s juggling is top notch accompanied by razor sharp dialogue,” he said. “Even when working with volunteers, his wit is lively and his delivery is on target.”

The performance is sponsored by Loper Programming and Activities Council (LPAC).
