UNK- “Holiday Card-Making for 21st Century Victorians” is the featured event for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Frank House.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature Victorian card traditions and Victorian card-making with workshop leader Connie Wine of Kearney.

“At the workshop, we will be making two cards,” Wine said. “Traditionally, the Victorians used lace, buttons and whatever paper products they had.”

Seating is limited to the first 15 people who register by Nov. 12. Reservations can be made by calling Frank House Director KrisAnn Sullivan at 308.865.8284 or sullivankw@unk.edu.

The Frank House is located on the University of Nebraska at Kearney West Campus.
