More than 100 early childhood educators from across the state will gather at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at the Holiday Inn in Kearney to celebrate culmination of a $1.7 million grant. Among those expected to attend are early childhood educators and administrators from all 13 Nebraska public colleges and universities, as well as participants and mentors.
In all, 103 early childhood educators from 11 qualified Head Start programs in the state received advanced education through the grant. Some completed degrees,
others were able to continue pursuing degrees. The event is being supported by representatives from the Lake Shore regional
offices in Colorado. Lake shore produces products for learning.
