Campfire USA, the Gamma Phi Beta national philanthropy project, is one of the nation’s leading nonprofit youth development organizations currently serving nearly 750,000 children and teens annually.
According to Kristin Nielsen, UNK Panhellenic publicity chair, the tournament goal is to raise $2,000 to help children in the Nebraska area participate in Campfire USA’s after school programs.
The programs provide homework help, physical activity and exposure to positive role models, healthy lifestyles, community service and leadership development.
