Industrial distribution students at the University of Nebraska at Kearney will get an early look at career opportunities in their field Monday (Oct. 9) at the fall Industrial Distribution Fair at the Nebraskan Student Union.

In all, 34 companies from 19 states will be on the campus to meet with students.

“Of these companies, 26 are staying to interview on Tuesday,” said Brenda Jochum, UNK Department of Industrial Technology internship director.

The event will be attended by more than 150 industrial distribution students–freshmen through seniors– in the UNK program.

Company representatives will be attending from California, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
