Five Receive Student Alumni Foundation Outstanding Senior Awards

Five University of Nebraska at Kearney students were presented Student Alumni Foundation Outstanding Senior Awards at the annual Mortar Board Honors Convocation Sunday, April 2, according to Jim Rundstrom, executive director of the UNK Alumni Association.
Award recipients include: Michelle McGeorge, a secondary education major from Craig; Katherine Frost, a chemistry major from Grand Island; Brett McCurdy, a psychology major from Lincoln; Jay Bartek, an industrial distribution major from York;  and Cole Spresser, a chemistry major fromAtwood, Kan.

The Outstanding Senior Award recognizes seniors for excellence in scholarship and leadership, as well as involvement in, and dedication to, UNK and the Kearney community.
