Brett Chloupek, a University of Nebraska at Kearney student from Harvard, has received an invitation from members of the U.S. Congress, President George Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney to participate in the 52nd annual National Prayer Breakfast Thursday, Feb. 5, in Washington, D.C.

Chloupek, one of only 100 students in the nation invited, was selected based on his leadership skills and potential, which were demonstrated at the National Student Leadership Forum on Faith and Values held last September. The breakfast includes more than 2,000 people from around the world and national leaders in the executive, judicial and legislative branches of the U.S. government.

In addition to the National Breakfast, Chloupek is also invited to participate in the National Leadership Seminar, which includes a weekend of with national leaders and other college students.
