The University of Nebraska at Kearney will present “The Crisis in Iraq: An Issue Forum on the Prospect of War with Iraq” on Monday, March 3 at 5 p.m. in Copeland Hall room 142 on the UNK campus.

UNK Political Science Department professors Drs. James Scott, William Aviles, and John Anderson and History Department professor Dr. Linda Van Ingen will be speaking.

“Our priority is to help the public become informed and to answer the questions that concern them that have not been answered by the newspaper and television,” said Aviles. “We would like to give the historical context of the conflict and alternative interpretations of the conflict and potential war.”

This forum is sponsored by the Department of Political Science, the Department of History, Honors Program, Locke and Key Society, UNK Model UN Organization, Criminal Justice Club, International Students Association, and the Japanese Association of Kearney.

The public is invited to attend this event
