The University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Student Envoy Team will host over 200 seniors for its 2nd annual Senior Day to be held Friday, January 31.
High school students from across the state will have the opportunity to tour the campus, experience a class and meet current UNK students. Those attending will also receive tickets to the Loper basketball game against Colorado Christian.
Senior Day is unique from other recruitment events in that it is entirely organized and run by UNK students. Members of the Student Envoy Team volunteer their time to help promote the university and the Kearney community.
“Our goal is to show potential students what a typical day at UNK is like,” Nick Trede, Student Envoy Team Director, said. “Senior Day is an excellent chance for the students visiting to see what the university has to offer.”
