The University of Nebraska at Kearney, College of Education will host a farewell reception for six Rostock, Germany students on Wednesday, October 9, from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m in the new College of Education Building, room B156.

Six Rostock students have spent five-and-a-half weeks at Emerson Elementary and five weeks at Horizon Middle School, hosted by the UNK College of Education.

The German students are majoring in Education at the University of Rostock. To receive a teaching degree, their government requires them to spend three months outside of their country. The opportunity the students have taken part in helps them to practice their English and experience American student life.
