UNK WILDLIFE SOCIETY TO HOST SPEAKER

The University of Nebraska at Kearney Wildlife Society will host Dr. Susan Fairbanks, a big game biologist and professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, on February 27 at 6:30 p.m. in Copeland Hall room 131. She will speak on “Conservation Research on Traditional Wildlife Species; Preliminary Results of 3 Studies.” She will talk about three of her current research projects, which are a bighorn sheep project in Utah, a pronghorn antelope project in northwest Nebraska, and a deer project in the Nebraska sandhills. The UNK Wildlife Society is a student chapter of the National Wildlife Society which is composed of biologist and professional across the nation.
