Do you want a simple way to decrease your car insurance? The Nebraska Safety Center at the University of Nebraska at Kearney can help you. The Safety Center will be offering driver education classes during the spring of 2002. These courses conform to the rules and regulations of the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles and exceed the criteria established for insurance discounts.
The Monday and Wednesday afternoon course is approximately eight weeks in length and will take place Feb. 25 through April 17. Classes will be conducted from 4 to 6 p.m. each afternoon. The fee for the course is $225. To enroll, an enrollment form and a non-refundable $100 deposit must be received at the Safety Center by Feb. 15.
The Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions are approximately six weeks in length and will take place March 19 through April 23. Classes will be conducted from 6 to 9 p.m. each evening. The fee for the course is $225. To enroll in the course, an enrollment form with a non-refundable $100 deposit must be received by March 12.
