NEBRASKA SAFETY CENTER TO OFFER SPRING 2002 CLASSES

The Nebraska Safety Center at the University of Nebraska at Kearney will be offering driver education classes during the spring of 2002. These courses conform to the rules and regulations of the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles and exceed the criteria established for insurance discounts.

The Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions are approximately six weeks in length and will take place March 19, 21, 26, 28; April 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18 and 23. Classes will be conducted from 6 to 9 p.m. each evening. The fee for the course is $225. To enroll in the course, an enrollment form with a non-refundable $100 deposit must be received at the Safety Center by March 12 due to limited space.

The Saturday afternoon class is approximately eight weeks in length and will take place Feb. 2, 9, 16, 23; March 2, 9, 16 and 23. Classes will be conducted from 1 to 5 p.m. The fee for the course is $225. To enroll, an enrollment form with a non-refundable $100 deposit must be received at the Center by Jan. 25.

The Monday and Wednesday afternoons course is approximately eight weeks in length and will take place Feb. 25, 27; March 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27; April 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, and 17. Classes will be conducted from 4 to 6 p.m. each afternoon. The fee for the course is $225. To enroll, an enrollment form and a non-refundable $100 deposit must be received at the Safety Center by Feb. 15.
