EXTRAORDINIST CRAIG KARGES TO VISIT UNK

The University of Nebraska at Kearney Student Activities Council presents a spectacular night of magic and entertainment with Craig Karges. Karges brings the “magic of the mind” to the stage with displays of illusion and demonstrations of psychic abilities. The performance will be on Thursday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Recital Hall at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Admission is free and open to the public.

“The students of Student Activity Council selected Mr. Karges after seeing a video of his performance, hearing of his quality show, and testimonials of those who have seen him before on campus.” says SAC director Tim Danube.

Karges has been named the NACA’s Campus Entertainer of the Year three times and he has received the Variety entertainer title a record nine consecutive times. He has also been honored by Performance magazine as one of the top five variety shows in the country and he has often been called “the King of college campus entertainment!”

A typical stage performance incorporates telekinesis, levitating tables and mind reading along with many other illusions. Not just “magic” Mr. Karges likes to call himself a “mentalist” emphasizing the power of the mind. Karges uses total audience participation throughout his show.
