LEARNING EDGE SEMINAR, “SUCESSFULLY MANAGING CHANGE,” SET FOR THURSDAY, MARCH 22

“Successfully Managing Change” is the focus of a Learning Edge seminar being presented Thurs., March 22, at College Park in Grand Island. Stephen Amundson, MBA, a member of the management and marketing department at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, will present the seminar. “Change surrounds us in our personal and professional lives,” Amundson said. “Successfully managing change is central to achieving personal and professional success. This seminar is designed for all who are responsible for identifying, accepting and implementing change, including business owners, managers, supervisors and employees.”

Amundson said the seminar emphasizes the skills needed to identify, accept and implement change. Participants will learn to determine the ground rules for implementing change, help others successfully deal with change, recognize and utilize basic change premises and understand the dynamics of an ever-changing environment.

The seminar will run from 1-4:30 p.m. The seminar fee is $79, or only $69 for participants who register by March 15.
