AREA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO COMPETE IN BUSINESS COMPETITION

UNK-Phi Beta Lambda, a business organization at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, will host the Twelfth Annual Business Competition Day on Feb. 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in UNK’s Health and Sports Center.

Approximately 200 students from 14 area high schools will compete in the competition. Those students who place in the top six will receive certificates while the first place winners will receive medals. Winners will be decided through different tests in various areas of business.

Phi Beta Lambda is an organization composed of students from all areas of business. The mission of PBL is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. Members participate in community service projects, host speakers of several different business careers, organize various social events, and participate in state and national leadership conferences.
